Gaye Holud!

We went to this friend's gaye holud on Saturday. She was so pretty! Tonight is the wedding. They kept things as Islamic as was in their power e.g. they didn't play music and they didn't let any men in. But still somethings in there didn't sit right with me. We went dressed up but in the end decided not to take our borkha off. Our friend was wearing a holud shari with red par and golden jamdani work throughout. Makeup was mostly red and pink but it suit her fine. Her garland was rose and some pink-white flowers. She looked like a princess! Her smiles were even better!
