lol........well, munipu, what do you expect.....i am only a first grade student in sewing school. thats why it took my mom 6 hours just to teach me how to make one. well....maybe i exagerated a little bit, it took us about 4 hours. and the other two hours, we cut this other one for anika (this ones for maliha, poor her, she actually has to wear it, lol), and my mom was trying to fix the damage i did to the first one i started doing, which is still not finished, cant figure out how to make it look more okay. lol.............

A very super-duper good job modhu. i just plan on making some dress, and never do. then my mum ends up doing it. i tried making a few things, but i stuffed them up so badly, that i have hitherto ashamed of even mentioning them.

I commend your patience and determination... but I still cannot understand how/why your pink shirt became your green shirt... do explain.

lol...........thanks guys, for all your encouragement. but i gotta tell you, while i was learning to sew, i felt like i was helpless at sewing w/0 my mom's help. everytime she was out of my sight, ami kono ekta pach badhaye boshe thaktam. either, machine-e shuta atkaye jaua, kinba kharap shelai houa. ashole, ammu amake jei machine-ta kine dise, practise korar jonno, oitate kichukhkhon por pori shelai kemon noshto hoye jai, abar thik korte hoi. and its really small too. but anyways, flynn, remember i told you about the pink one i was making, thats what my mom was trying to fix that day with me. but it seems that its beyond repair. ami gola ta eto boro banaye felsi, that its really hard to keep it on. lol, dont know if i will be able to wear it ever, even if i do finish it someday. maybe i will wear it to bed or something, i mean that way it wont go to waste. lol.....but i hope to learn to sew very soon. then maybe i could make my own eid clothes. ekhane bengali clothes ekdom paua jaina, jano? so if i want to buy something, amar onek dur dur theke niye ashte hoi. so pray for me ppl, so i can learn to sew good. good enough to make eid clothes. :)

so thats the mystery of the colour swap! A suggestion for your pink one: why don't you pit elastic in the hem of the necline like those peasant-style tops?
