Visit to Canberra

We went to Canberra on the weekend and stayed and giny and mou's (Mumtahana) place. It was 2 fun-filled days and late-nights. Najrul uncle took us to the Australian War Memorial and Telstra Tower. I grabbed a bunch of 'Canberra tourist attractions' brochures before leaving. Cant wait till we go back and cover all. (our own photos havent been develped yet)

Telstra Tower: The middle level (870 m high) is the public gallery, we went at night, it was way cool!

Australian War Memorial: Well it started off with Najrul uncle giving us a lecture before going in. He told us to think about the agenda behind showcasing the stuff in there. It was good though we were rushed. There were weapons, equipments, ships, aircrafts, personal artefacts of soldiers, life size models and also a short aircraft movie...and oh yes! we saw Simpson's donkey as well *lol*

I think its the people more than the place that make your trip enjoyable. Next time Giny and Moum comes to Sydney, I'll try to take em to ur place iishii. You talked to them on phone. They're great fun. Moum's a bit like Tahseen!

Oh, look- you lot can't seem to go on for even a few measly days without mention of this "tahseen" character...
Ok-ok...I'll stop with the "tahseen is so great jokes" (lol).

M. Apu, I can see what you mean by Radia wanting to move to Canberra, she was soo excited that she couldn't even find the words to finish off the email she sent me! WOW- that little girl was all energy and no mass... well- she's always all energy and no mass- she has no mass to speak of.

Speaking of NZ- why don't we reminisce for a while? Did I mention that there is fresh air (as in not polluted) in NZ? And then there is snow! Oh, and clean beaches...friendly people, green grass (not yellow, green)... whose brilliant idea was it to move here anyway???
